Environmental Policy
Acorn Fasteners Limited is committed toward a policy of review and assessment to determine the aspects and impact that its business has on the environment and to adopt the best practice wherever practical.
In developing the environment policy the Managing Director sets the aims and objectives and has appointed an Environmental Officer to plan and co-ordinate the activities and provide a forum for discussion and improvement. To this affect the company has identified those areas to which it can contribute and are shown on page 2.
The Company considers its operations against local and national legislation and will continue to monitor changes and react accordingly.
The Company recognises its social obligations to reducing harm to the environment and in doing so accepts the challenge to demonstrate by example and to involve its personnel in achieving those objectives.
The Company shall co-ordinate, co-operate and plan activities with suppliers, subcontractors and customers to minimise the impact of operations on the environment.
Acorn Fasteners Ltd also promotes a responsible attitude toward the environment encouraging participation of their employees and families.
